LG is the third manufacturer to announce a cell phone with an 8 megapixel camera in Europe, this being the continuation of the company’s highly successful Viewty’s spirit. The 3″, 240 x 400 pixels large touchscreen, capable of displaying 262 thousand colors, has the manufacturer’s proprietary Flash user interface running on it. The 8 megapixel camera, equipped with Schneider-Kreuznach lens and a Xenon flash, can take still images and record high-resolution and slow-motion videos too. The list of features includes DivX and XviD playback, Mobile Dolby sound enhancement solutions, Word, Excel and PDF file support and TV-out. In spite of the phone not having an open operating system, it still features a GPS receiver and WLAN support, this being great for browsing and emailing. The 107.8 x 55.9 x 14 mm large LG KC910, weighing 114 grams, features HSDPA support and is currently available for about €500 EUR.
