Posted in: Motorola

A couple of its photos have been leaked before, and its user-interface has been exposed, but now the Motorola MOTO VE66 is now officially official. Yep, you can’t get any more official than that.

This is Motorola’s first feature-rich phone in quite a long time, packing in a 5-megapixel camera, built-in Wi-Fi, and a 2.2-inch TFT LCD screen in a 15.2 mm thin body.

As for the overall package, the MOTO VE66 isn’t that bad. In fact, it’s one of Motorola’s best-equipped phones this year. And at least it’s got the looks to go along with the great features, for anyone who would be interested.
Here are the Motorola MOTO VE66’s key features: Read the rest of this entry »

Motorola and Verizon Wireless today launched what they call the “first interactive clear flip, full-touch phone”: Motorola Krave ZN4.

Previously known as Motorola Blaze, Krave ZN4 is Moto’s first touchscreen handset that gets to be released in the US. Its design reminds me of the Ming series that Motorola is selling in China, and I have to admit that the Krave is quite a looker.

Motorola wants to target two categories of users with the new Krave ZN4: people who like touchscreen phones and people who are into clamshells.

The handset has only one display, on the inside: a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen one with 240 x 400 pixels. This can be accessed both when the phone is open and closed, thanks to the interactive clear flip cover designed by Motorola. In fact, the clear flip kind of functions like a secondary touchscreen with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, which is pretty cool. art from what is mentioned above, Motorola Krave ZN4 also offers: Read the rest of this entry »

Motorola V80

Posted in: Motorola

The new Motorola V80 is one currently of the most luxurious phones. It comes out from the top model V600 but has a new stylish design and really unconventional construction.

Motorola introduced its luxurious model V80 in February, in Krakow, Poland. Selling has been planed to start in the summer, but we didn’t trust this information much considering the experience we had with other Motorola phones. Luckily, we didn’t bet on our prognosis. Motorola V80 was on the market on time. The new Motorola piece is in essence just differently designed V600 type, entirely identical from a software point of view. Following V70, it’s the next model from the series of eccentric phones with an original opening, similar to a switchblade knife. Seriously, the cover literally leaps when you touch it.

Looking at Motorola V80 you will probably think of words like “style” and “flair”. A shiny black egg with a quality display on the upper side is trimmed around by a matte silver color. A thick silver frame in matte and shiny shade highlights the display itself. Read the rest of this entry »

Motorola MOTO Q

Posted by: rubbi

Posted in: Motorola

The reason we mention this is that the Motorola MOTO Q Global also shows a strange idea of what is “Global”. On many levels this is a very promising looking smartphone, but it is strangely flawed in its implementation.

The Motorola MOTO Q has been around since 2005, and during this time it has popped up in many different CDMA or GSM variants. The MOTO Q Global follows on from the MOTO Q9h in that it is a GSM device with UMTS and HSDPA high-speed data, but this time it is available exclusively on the US AT&T network. This is a Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone with a 2 megapixel camera, microSD expandable memory, stereo Bluetooth, USB connectivity and all the features that you would expect to find in a Windows mobile phone of this class.
