Nokia intros new services and 7 new phones under €100 – 7100 Supernova and 5130 XpressMusic

Nokia, the “king of emerging markets”, has just announced the upcoming release of no less than 7 (seven) new cheap phones.
Most of these handsets come with Mail on Ovi and Nokia Life Tools, two new services especially created for mobile users in emerging markets.
Mail on Ovi lets you create an email account directly on a cell phone, hence there’s no need for you to own a personal computer to start emailing. By the end of 2008, the service will be available for all of Nokia’s Series 40 phones.
Nokia Life Tools, a suit of agriculture information and education services, is created for rural and small town communities. The services leverage on an icon-based user interface and on SMS, providing “timely and relevant information” to farmers and students. Nokia E63, previously rumored to be called Nokia E72, has recently appeared in a set of live shots, the first ones with the smartphone. These not only that confirm the existence of the device, but they also show the world that E63 has a lot in common with Nokia E71, launched by the Finns a few months ago.
If you’re a US mobile user who just happen to like simple flip phones, Cricket has just launched something for you: Nokia 1606, an entry-level clamshell that works on the said carrier’s AWS network.
Nokia is busy adding to its line of basic phones. The latest to be added will be the Nokia 7100s, also known as the ‘Supernova’. The device is a slider designed much in the same manner as the Nokia 6710. The 7100s is set to be cheaper than the 6710, and will have fewer features than its predisessor.
